DEI Events
Did you know generational trauma may be more common than you think? Our DEI Co-Chairs, Anna “Alvalkàrà” Dao and Tammy “Ellysïel” Nguyen, presented a seminar discussing the effects of generational trauma and how to identify it.
In April, DEI Co-Chairs collaborated with OASIS and hosted a Late Night Dish It Up discussing the Model Minority Myth. It was an insightful and educational conversation where DEI Co-Chairs unpacked the origins of the Model Minority Myth and its impact

BLACK LIVES MATTER.
The UNL Upsilon Chapter of Delta Phi Lambda stands in solidarity with the Black community. In light of the recent events in our country, we cannot ignore or condone the anti-black sentiments and racism. We urge our Asian and Lincoln communities to join us as we support the Black community. We believe that with meaningful, constructive discussions and our joint efforts, we can help bring awareness to the systemic racism that negatively impacts our country.

Stand as one.
During this time, we want to highlight our advocacy by focusing on and supporting the local Lincoln community. Lincoln, NE is home to many local Black businesses. Business details can be found below.

Spread awareness
Not only do we carry Delta Phi Lambda virtues and spread Asian awareness, we also know the importance for standing together to spread awareness other communities. It is important that we advocate for each other as each individual sister can work alongside each other to amplify voices.
